tunze osmolator and Kalkawasser

I have a tunze osmolator and I am thinking about having the pump does kalkwasser instead of regular water. I do not want to buy the calcium dispenser if I don't have to ( I want to keep my system as simple as possible).

My question is, how will this affect the pump life?

How much would a replacement pump cost for the osmolator?

The pump warranty would be void, it could last from 3 months to 1 year or maybe more. This depends on a few things, if it is a weak solution and the pump does not take in a slurry it will last longer than if it is sitting in slurry and the solution is strong. The pumps cost about $18.
