Tunze Osmolator dead

Hi,

I have a tunze osmolator which I purchased a couple of weeks ago. This morning it has no lights on the controller. I have moved it to another plug socket, left it unplugged for a while and also changed the fuse but it still appears to be dead.

I am waiting to speak to the LFS I purchased it from but any trouble shooting tips in the meantime?

I would check that the power supply works by either using a voltmeter or touching the pump wires to the DC output tip. (one on the inside one on the outside). If the pump runs, the power supply is fine. In that case it is likely the controller and it could be some water damage to the power connection or just a weak or loose power connection (defect).

Thanks - It can't be water damage as the osmolator is in a "dry cupboard" under the tank plus all the controller and connections are up high in the cupboard.

I have now spoken to Tunze UK who have said I should just sent the unit back to them for repair.
