Tunze Osmolator Pump Issue

I installed the ATO system into my system on 10/17/2014 and was working fine. However, last night I discovered my ATO reservoir was low and the pump was not submerged under the water. I promptly replaced the ATO reservoir and reset the pump by unplugging the system as I have done before.

However, when I returned today I came home to my water level in the DT drastically low, and the ATO pump not pumping any water although the orange "pump on" was lit up. I attempted again to reset the ATO only this time instead of the typical flashing lights and pump turning on for a short period of time this is what is taking place:

the red light for "low" comes on for a very short period of time, then the orange light for "pump on" comes on and I hear the pump attempting to pump water from the reservoir (so I know its not the pump connection), but nothing is coming out of the water line. then the light returns to green "level" (only because I filled up the evaporated water manually)

can anyone tell me what is going on with my pump? Seeing as how it is still a really new piece of equipment, its hard to believe that the pump is already bad... any assistance would really be appreciated...

You might first try tipping the pump upside down while submerged, they can be airlocked and unable to prime if they have run dry. It is possible the pump was defective, we have had some bad pumps and the motor runs but the impeller slips and does not spin. We can send a replacement pump if that is the case.

Thanks for the reply Roger, I attempted to submerge the pump upside down and reset the pump, then slowly rotated the pump and still nothing. I do not know if its the impeller that can be seen in the hole at the bottom of the pump, but if it is then it in fact is not spinning, though the motor is running.

I believe a replacement pump would be necessary at this point... what information would I need to provide in order to obtain one?
