This is probably a question for Roger.
I am using a tunze osmolator and I would like to turn my skimmer off during dosing. When I perform this action the volume of water displaced from the skimmer ends up overfilling my sump and the optical sensor becomes submerged which then causes tunze osmolator to beep and alarm red.
If I were to turn the tunze osmolator off during this period is there any long term problem that may occur to the optical sensor? I notice on turning the tunze osmolator on after this and the device reboots that one of the diagnostic test flashes a red led indicating that the tunze optical sensor is wet. Not sure whether this will be good thing for the sensor to be subjected to this on a daily basis?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Arthur
