Tunze Osmolator. saltwater resistant?

i got the Tunze osmolator a couple of weeks ago, and i'd say it offers it's the most precise in terms of water topup. however, because of significant amt of water losses though wet skimming, i have to add brine regularly to raise the salinity.

my qn here is the 12VDC pump that comes with the set saltwater resistant. if not, will the warranty become if i put brine in the topup reservoir instead of distilled water.

Only kalkwasser voids the warranty as it has a very high pH that affects the seals. The pumps are cheap enough though that you can spare yourself a lot of heartache by keeping a spare on hand.
