Tunze Osmolator Universal

Say I have the Tunze Osmolator and it is only 2 wks old and sometimes it works and sometimes it don't . I clean the eye and still the same thing any ideas thx.

What is it doing? Can you describe what the malfunction is?

The water level drops below the eye and the pump doesn't come on. When I unplug it then plug it back in the pump comes back on and fills to eye and shut off. Then the samething happens again. thx.

Is there any way water could be clinging to the sensor such as water dribbling down the rail or glass pane it is affixed to?

no it is at the far end of the sump were the water is calm.

Please try the following test, especially if you have any ballasts, large pumps or x-10 devices near the osmolator. Test the osmolator in a seperate room from the aquarium, such as the kitchen. Use a bowl of water to dunk the sensor in to test it. This will rule out a product defect vs magnetic interference. If it still does not work I will get this replaced for you. If it does work you need to find the source of the electromagnetic interference and move the osmolator away from it.
