whenever I power on my Tunze it pumps for few seconds even though the water level is right which caused the alert and keeps beeping.

Does the ATK do the same? Or this there a way to stop pumping when power on the Tunze?

I have the Tunze 3155 and when you turn it on it does a purge cycle to clear the pump of any air. It usually runs for 4-5 seconds, then shuts off.

When it powers up the unit runs a quick diagnostic and then will alert you of any errors. If it keeps beeping there is a problem with the unit. Are you able to use it? If so, then it's simply running through the cycle that Vincent outlined. If not, send it back to Tunze and they'll either repair it or will allow you purchase a new unit at a discounted price.

it works as designed. the issue is when it did the last run; it filled the water ALMOST to the perfect level when my reservoir runs out of water. I unplug it because I don't want the pump keep running DRY. I plugged it back after I filled up the reservoir and here comes the problem. It pumped again and this time was above the emergency floater level which triggered the alert. If I don't plug it back right after I filled the reservoir sometimes I forgot to :( I know it was designed that way but I just want to see if any way that can work around this issue.
