I recently purchased a Tunze Osmolator 3155. It was working great for the first two weeks, but yesterday the pump began rapidly turning on and off and the yellow indicator would flash. This results in the pump being on for only about one second at a time (alternating rapidly on and off) and no water actually reaching the aquarium. I have removed it from the aquarium and set it up using buckets in an attempt to find the problem, but I have had no luck. Could you please help me solve this? Here's some more detailed information about the problem:
When I plug in the system, the yellow light turns on and the pump activates for approximately 3 seconds. Then the green indicator light flashes for a split second and the system enters a routine of turning the pump on and off repeatedly; being on for approximately one second at a time. This continues endlessly until I unplug the system and the yellow light flashes in sequence with the pump turning on and off. So far, I have tried cleaning the optic sensor and ensuring there are no air bubbles, ensuring there are no clogs in the tubing, inverting the pump to remove any air bubbles and alternating the positioning of the sensor. I cannot seem to get the system to work properly, which is strange because it worked great initially.
