Tunze Osmolator

So I am thinking about getting a Tunze Osmolator. I read that to make sure height of water adding is lower than outlet tube into sump or you'll get siphon drip. I am not sure I completly understand this. My ATO reservior will be sitting in the bottom of a chest right next to my stand/tank. I would like to pump the fresh water into the return pump chamber on my sump. Below is a picture of my sump. Do you think my plan will work or will I be constantly running the risk of overflowing my sump. Thanks for the help

You are right. The outlet of the pump tubing needs to be higher than the highest level your water will ever be in the topoff reservoir.

On mine I ran the pump tubing along the top of the stand. Then I put the pump tubing about 6" into a larger (3/4" ID) tubing that ran down into my sump. Doing this breaks the siphon.
