How many people use these they seem awesome with tons of fail safes built in

I use one and it is awesome. It's the first ato I've used, so I don't have a large basis of comparison, but it is easy to set up and has the optic sensor and float valve and attches via magnet. Also, I don't have to worry about running kalk in my topoff because the replacement pump is only $20.

yeah I am setting it up now and I love it just playing seems like its going to be a great thing as I top off about 5 gallons a day does the pump automatically shut off if the tank its in runs dry

Long term my plan is to incorporate a kalk reactor with it. And of course add the calcium reactor

It has a timer that stops the pump after like 3 min but no sensor for low water level. I have burned up a pump due to empty top off reservoir though.

Kalk is bad for the sensor as well make sure the optical sensor is cleaned well and regularly if you start that up
