Tunze pulse settings

Over Christmas I purchased a 6000 stream and a 7095. I am using the pulse setting 100%-30%. What are most people using as the pulse time (1.5 seconds - 6.5 seconds)?

3 seconds is generally what I prefer because the fastest pulse doesn't seem to give enough time for the speed to really change and the slowest pulse is less turbulent.
