Had the setup for almost a year and never had an issue totally safe as long as you pair it with a powerful pump such as:

Rio Plus 3100HP
Maxi-Jet 3000 Utility Pump
Tunze silence 1073.20
Eheim compact 2000

The float switch goes on the return pump side of your sump and will shut your pump off when the water gets to low.

I have a question from a newbie: how would you install the mame sub switch in the DT to shut off the return pump when the overflow gets clotted and the water rises? What can I use instead of their converter?
