We make a good skimmer. Your link didn't work but here is my opinion on the three skimmers on eBay. The first one, the 230/2 in new condition is the only one worth considering but it has an older model pump and is not excatly like a new one. The 3130/2 I think is a scam. I have one authorized dealer in New York and the guy has never bought a skimmer and further, just to break even he would have to make almost triple the present bidding, I don't think he is a real dealer. It isn't like most dealers have a hard time selling the product so he has no reason to give it away. As for the third one the supposed 230/3 that is an antique. It is model 230- the original, circa 1985-1990. This has one of the first water cooled pumps we ever made, before then almost all pumps were air cooled.

Of those I have only ever used the AquaC. The Aqua C is more powerful, I would expect all of them are more powerful. On the other hand, the 230/2 is sufficient and uses less than 1/3rd of the electricity. The cup is easy to remove and clean and shuts down when it is full. It is however finicky when it comes to water level, if you keep a constant waterlevel though it is as close to set and forget as a skimmer gets.
