Tunze Stream in 55g show?

Just curious if there's any Stream pumps that have photosensor (to get slower at lights out) that would be good in a 55 show (48x13x18) hosting a mixed reef predominantly SPS?

Also what about some kind of wave making device?

Thanks

Sorry.. I was going to edit my message but can't anymore.. Would a Stream 6000 w/ multi-controller be too much flow in a 55g long (48"x13"18") with SPS/clam/lps and some smaller fish? I wouldn't be so worried about the corals as I would the fish being knocked around too much?

Alrighty, after some extended searching I found a post about roger saying that a 6000 stream is too much for a 55..

Two 7300's or whatever would be good.. can those be automated to run slower in the evening?

thanks

the electronic turbelles (7200, 7300, 7400) can indeed be turned down to lower flow using the photocell and either the single or multicontroller.

Sorry, I had family in town for the weekend. The main problem with Streams in a 55 is the flow pattern is designed for much wider tanks. The 7300/2 is more appropriate for these narrow tanks. Otherwise twins has it right, the lower pulse setting is what the pumps switch t at night, so what ever the 2nd or lower pulse knob is at is the speed the pumps will run in night mode.
