Tunze Stream Kit Overated???

These new Tunze's will be in high demand. I bet they will be hard to come by when released. I hope they have ramped up manufacturing.

The 6025 and 6045 will be out in Late september while the 6055 will be out right before x-mas. PA already have them listed on their site but I'm not sure if you can pre-order them or not.

I'm going to contact a lfs to see how many I would be able to get. It would be nice to get two 6025 and two 6045 or 6055s.

A 6060 (or maxi mod) moded to a seaswirl is somthing to look into also.

According to the Tunze forum, they will only be releasing a limited number of each model initially, in case there are any bugs to be worked out. Also the 6025 and 45 will be able to go on timers with a recommended minimum 15 minute interval.

yea, I'm really hoping they get the bugs out with the 25/45s so my 55 is perfect when Santa drops it off. The MJ mods are just filling in until these come out.

Tunzes are very nice, efficient, especially when you pay the electricity bill. I don't know about US prices , but in Europ equivalent Seios are no cheaper than Tunzes for euro per litre water moved

While we're talking about it.... how does everyone pronounce Tunze? I've always said it as "toonz" in my head, but my high school German tells me I should be pronouncing the "e".

Germans would say it as Toonzah. In Engligh we would say it with a long ee but German pronunciation is with a ah.

I just got my first stream it is a 6080 and it is awesome. I have had 2 seio 1500 for 2 years and they a nice but the tunze are better if you can swing it go with the tunze. 2 6100 with the multicontroller.would be awesome on that size tank. Next one that I am getting will have the controller.

got 2 tunze 6000 in a 343l sps reef running on 5sec intervalls 50%/100% and that is not owerrated at all! considering uppgrading them to 6100. and like my fellow reefer her in norway says, they give you the cheapest powerbill!
