tunze wave box

hi guys i am looking at getting a tunze wavebox but am not sure if it will be a bit extreme for my tank. tank is 2.5ftlx2.5ftwx2ft high. any opinions and experience with this would be much appreciated.

It would barely work. I would advise against it as the tank dimensions will generate a very small wave at best.

so my tank is too big???? im not sure i understand why it would barely work. i was under the impression that the wavebox would be too big for my tank

Tank is too small, 30" is the minimum required to generate a wave. It will just barely work, maybe a 1/2" wave at best.
