Tunze Wavebox and 6040 nanostream

I am wondering can a Tunze Wavebox be hook up to the 6040 Nanostream.
If it can, are there any advantage over them running independently.

PS I am referring to the two controllers be linked together. Or can it be done easier?

It would marginally increase the wave height if they were on the same side or opposite sides when set to inverse. In general I would use the wave box for the wave and the 6040 for directional current, ideally you have both.
