Which would be better?

Does anyone use the Tunze Wavebox and if so, pros and cons?

The advantage of the wavebox is the push pull action of the device (like real ocean surge). With a closed loop you are just adding flow, unless you go with somekind of flow device to alternate the return flow.

I use the W2K wavebox and a CL with an OM SuperSquiret and a Reeflow Dart. Everything grows like crazy. Lovin' it.

If I were to do it again, I would get the Tunze over the W2K, even though it's twice the $$

they are 2 different things.. not to be compared... the wavebox is a rocking motion but does not push water.. a closed loop moves water.. the wavebox compliments a tank but can not be used as the sole method of water movement..
