Hello,

how do i figure out if the model is still in warranty? more specifically Tunze 6100.

It is two years from date of purchase or from the date code stamped into the motor. 6100s have been discontinued for near 3 years now. What is the problem you are having?

I kind of having the same question regarding buying used from reef-fellow on RC:
1-do warranty is transferable?
2-If need repair, then what is the rate charge?

Roger may have missed your reply to this thread

To the best of my knowledge...... Warranty is transferable. Repair if in warranty is just the cost of shipping to Tunze. If out of warranty typically it is the cost of parts unless problem is caused by neglect such as lack of cleaning.
