Turbinaria polyp extension ??

I have had a yellow scroll coral for 3 years now and it is slowly growing. Color is excellent. When I see photos the polyps are always extended. MY polyps are never extended. Any ideas ??

How much flow do you have on it? and what kind of lights is it under?

Relatively high flow. I have 2 Koralia 3's in a 58 gallon tank. It is midway up the tank and directly under 2 x 150 w HQI. It does grow slowly but i don't really see the polyps ever extend really at all.

We have had a turbinaria reinformis frag for few weeks now, we have a hydor korilia #2 directly facing it and about 4-5inches away, about 10 inches from T5 lighting, we've noticed that the polyps only come out at night and even then its hard to see them, we use a little L.E.D. lgiht to shine on it to see

Mine seems to enjoy a whole hell of a lot of flow but not laminar flow. Can you point the koralia at the aquarium wall or at another pump?
