what are they vulnerable to water wise? i had two die these past 2 weeks and i have tested the water with the master kit and everything is in check. thisngs i have not tested for are phosphates, calcium etc. the tank is doing great but they dies off. i had them for months.

Could be dieing from starvation. If there isn't enough to munch on they will wither. I would start checking your alkalinity and calcium though. It's good practice to keep these in balance. ;)

the tank is flourishing with coraling and some bright green algae. i also have near 100 pounds of live rock. just before they die they kind of crumple up and go in and out of there shells in a rocking motion.

i will check alkaline and calium too.

thanks!

Some/many of the turbo's commonly sold by LFS etc are actually cold water specimens which can't survive in our warm water tanks.
