Turbofloater 1000 skimmer: quick question

Do you think a good upgrade would be the OceanRunner 2700??

I have a Rio and after hearing some horror stories, i'm going to upgrade.

Is this OceanRunner a good pump for the Turbofloater (i'm getting it used for about $40, runs perfectly)


I have a 46g tank, medium stocked

The 1000 multi come with this very pump. I have it and works fine. I believe you can also run the 1000 multi or normal with a MJ900 from reading on this board.
