Is anybody using the turoflotor 5000 baby(4 footer) or the shorty? I'm thinking about getting one and curious what people think. This is for a 210, I tend to stock and feed heavy so I like an a big skimmer

Atzak - I just ordered the Baby for a planned 220 setup. A buddy of mine has the 5000 Single on his 210, and it works great. A bit of overkill, but a quality skimmer. Feedback I have seen is mostly positive, and my buddy loves his.

how does your friend feed his? Did he just place a pump in a sump or plumb it from his return?

One of my good friends (Lost Marbles) has a 5000 6ft Twin I sold him on his 215 gallon and he likes it a lot. Might shoot him a PM.

I have 2 shortys, and 1 baby, haven't had the chance to hook up the baby yet, but loved my shorty so much, bought another, then came upon a good deal for a baby so grabbed it.

Used the shorty on my very heavy stocked 180+. My next setup will be a 300g +, which I will be using a shorty, and a baby.

They perform 10x better if gravity fed
