Turboflotor Blue 1000

Anyone have any experience with this skimmer? I'm looking to upgrade my Coralife Superskimmer.

have not used the new blue line from aqua medic but i use the t 1000s and the shortys at work and have been really impressed with them. Aqua medic is a great company.

I upgraded my CSS 125 to a turboflotor 1000 multi, haven't used the new one your referring to and I found the turbo and the coralife pulled out about the same amount of trash. The multi was a lot stable-er(if that's a word) and didn't have the overflow or constant tinkering problems of the CSS.

Not really sure how much of an upgrade the turbo is. More like a sideways shift to an easier to operate skimmer.

I just switched to an octo-extreme 200 and been happy with it running stock.
