Turboflotor?

hey all,

this week I bought what ended up to be enough stuff to fill the bed of my pickup! so i'm started on the way to getting my 125-150 setup!

Well the skimmer that I had thought about getting for my system was an octopus nw200, but with all this stuff I bought came a turbofclotor multi 1000.

Has anyone usedthe turboflotor and if so how good of ajob did it do? Would it be better to just sell the turboflotor for what I can and get something bigger from the start? I really don't know anything about skimmers so any help is appriciated.

Justin

By the way sorry if my typing leaves something to be desired. Most of the time i'm typing on my phone and its so hard to get everything perfect!

about all i can tell you is you get what you pay for you buy cheap ypu get poor preformance at least that is wat i expierenced

The turboflotor is a decent skimmer. Actually you get the same brand of pump on both skimmers as Haliea makes the Oceanrunner line for Aquamedics. A nw-200 does run the next pump size larger than the T-1000.

Depending on the setup the T-1000 is a little small for a 125-150G setup in my opinion but if you don't go crazy with the SPS or overstock your fish you could get by with it.

The most reliable useful pump in reefkeeping is a maxi-jet and there less then $20. You just have to read up.

You get what you pay for just gets you ripped off in this hobby.
