I was actually refferring to a post that was titled something like "what other secrets are you keeping from me"...I couldn't find it when I tried to search. But it was page after page of little tips like this. I don't think it had anything to do about curing vats. ..but somebody mentioned turkey basters in there-- I know this because it was how I found out about it. It's also the first place I recall reading about using credit cards for algea scrappers and possibly the first place I read about spuerglue gel.

Same here, just be careful not to splash the halide... I knew not to and still managed to do it.
