Turning Sump into Frag Tank?

Anyone done this and have pics? Since I already removed the macro reactor and am thinking of removing the protein skimmer, I'm contemplating throwing an extra redsea 50w light i have on my sump. Seems like there would be plenty of room to aquaculture some stuff!

Could almost throw a pair of clowns in there even since I don't think anything could hurt the fry if they had any...

I don't know of anyone who has ever done that to be honest. But, I don't see a reason it cannot be done. My only concern would be algal growth blocking the sponge going into the return chamber.

that sponge already drives me nuts. on my redsea I noticed a lot of people just remove it. I liked it because of the protection it afforded the return pump, but I think I ran it at like half exposure because it limits so much water flow, lol.
