First off what kind of fish is that and are those teeth?!?!

second the s3 has fully manual mode along with aperture priority and shutter priority and a iso speed settable up to 800, if you play around with it and read a coupl eof the stickies at the top of the forum I would think you should be able to get shots without the flash, But I have never used the camera so I can't say for a hundred percent.

Yup the teeth get everyone!
its a harlequin tusk wrasse
a gentle giant with a mouthfull of chompers
reef safe but no inverts. and really messy

i usually do manual mode and can take great shots outside but the ISO makes everything so grainy. and if i do low iso i cant get a shutter that is slow enough to make things light but it blurs with the tripod.

Which means the ccd chip is not sensitive enough for the light that you want I would probably say take the picture with the grain and try to use light room or photoshop to fix it maybe someone else here could give you a better option
