Tuxedo Urchin stacked in Hammer Coral

Hi,

The Tuxedo Urchin was introduced to my 120 gal tank a week ago after 2.5 hours acclimation. He was moving well across all rocks. Last several days he stack in a hammer coral. I don't see spines on it that might be a sign of a stress.

The water parameters are stable: 1.025, 23.5-24 C. I do 10-11 gal water change every week.

Should I do anything to help him?

Sorry to say but when an urchin loses all its spines it means he's usually on his way out...

Check your nitrates, phosphates, etc etc.. urchins lose their spines under poor conditions.. might be a little late at this point looking at the ammount of spines already gone..
