Tuxedo Urchin & Zoanthids?

I want to get a tuxedo urchin but I also want to get some zoanthids. I heard urchins like coraline algae so they can kill coral. Do I have to worry about this with soft corals like zoanthids since they can't actually eat it off of them? I have a 30 gallon tank.

They wont eat corals. Mine does pass over my zoas from time to time but only to look for food around it. The zoas close up but are open and happy once the tux has passed. Also the tuxedo urchins arent as prolific at eating coraline as other urchins. If mine finds some it has a little nibble but moves on. It doesnt go looking for the stuff.

In my opinion the problem with urchins eating coraline and corals is over blown. The demise long spine diadem urchins in the caribbean is the primary reason (but not only) the caribbean reefs are in such bad shape. But being found as deep as a 1000' they clearly can switch form a herbivorous to omnivorous diet and begin eating not only coraline but corals also. I have not seen this behavior with the pacific short spine urchins like the tuxedo or royal urchins and prefer to have 1 per 50 gallons in my tanks.
