Tweek calcium levels

My ca consistantly runs 420 day and night I us kalk in my ATO for calcium levels.

my alk level is always 8dkh

my magnesium is 1120



I was wondering is that calcium level ok?

I really get more coraline and coral growth at a higher level like 480



Even if I add calcium 2 part to my tank levels are not maintained at 480

it always drops back and stays at 420pm



Am I just being picky?

I just added 2 part calcium and now my levels are still the same

420 is fine for calcium. Balanced Ca for that Alk is 417, so you are balanced. If you want 480 (which you don't really need), you'll do best to also bump up your alk.

My mg is around 1300, with a Ca of ~430 and an alk of ~3.2 meq/l
