Two Clown fish pairs in the same tank?

Hey,
I know this is probably a dumb questions as Im pretty sure the fish would not get along together, however Ive thought of trying to have a pair of ocellaris and a pair of the black and white percula clowns or maroon clowns in my tank. Anybody ever had two different clown pairs in the same tank of different species?

Most of the time black and white clowns are ocellaris, there are Onyx percs, however.

Anyways, in a 40 that would be a very bad idea, once on of the pairs started spawning, odds are you would end up with just one pair of clowns. (( could even happen before spawning ))

Yea ive always heard if you want to keep more than 1 pair of clowns you need at least a 125g or bigger.. Just what ive heard tho..

you definitely don't want to put maroon clowns in there though, they can be really mean.

i have 4 ocellaris in my 55G. 1 female, 3 male. they all get along good.
