two dragon eels

Is it possible to have two dragon eels in the same tank its a 220 with plenty of hiding spots I just don't want to want end up with one eel since they aren't cheap

I have seen them kept in pairs. Years ago there was a poster on a now-defunct site that had a long term pair in a large tank. Sorry, can't remember the screen name.

I have seen it on YouTube but that doesn't mean anything since people do alot of stuff they shouldn't on there but will they be able to stay in there because I really don't want to have upgrade for awhile if possible
