Anyone keeping or tried to keep multiple dwarf angelfish in a tank around this size?

I have a flame and thinking about adding a multicolor angelfish

I've read people keeping a pair of the same species but added at the same time to reduce aggression towards one.

I've been thinking of a FOWLR with a pair of flames in a 75/90g.

I have 3 potters in my 75. 1 male and 2 newly introduced small females. They seem to be doing great together. Setting up a 225 Hawaiian bio tank as we speak.

Eh. Doesn't sound like a good idea. The only way for it to work would be if you added them at the same time, which you can't, or adding 2 more to make the amount 3 angelfish, so your flame angel can't focus all its attention on just the 1. But that would only allow space for one or 2 other fish max, so your choice but I'd reccomend against it.

These 3 have been together for about 3 years now. The coral beauty and multicolored were together an additional year prior to my move to my current place. It is a 65. The flame was added about 3 months after my move -- moved from my 75. I used an acclimation box for about a week before releasing it to the tank. Every blue moon there is some minor chasing, but ends within a second. Have never noticed any tattered nor torn fins on any of them.

My 75 has a flameback and venustus, they have been together for about 2 months now. Completely ignore each other --- will be moved to my 210 once I finish setting it up.

An older video of the 3.

I have a Pacific pygmy angel and a flame angel in a 56 gallon for about 2 months now without any aggression. I've had the pacific pygmy for a little bit more than 2 years and it was well established before adding the flame

It could definitely work. But it could also definitely not work. It's kind of a gamble. I have a 72 with a Potters and a Coral Beauty. The CB was added first. There was definitely some friction at first, but after about a week, everything settled down. I kept the lights off or very low for quite a while, and I have a lot of live rock with caves and pass throughs so they do really feel like they have their own reef territory. It's been about 5ish months, and everything is a-ok. So for me, it's working.

Can be done I currently have a coral beauty,2 flame angels,a lemonpeel , a false lemonpeel a flame back and a imperator all together in a 120 they have been together for several years with no problem.

Cool, looks like I'm going to give it a shot. Seems like I read more success stories than not even before this thread started.

This seems to be my plan so far. I don't mind taking my scape apart if it doesn't work out... My plan is after QTing the fish rescape the tank adding a couple different caves and two seperate islands. Add the multicolor and keep the lights off for a day or two. If the flameangel is still aggressive after that I'll put him in a seperate tank for two weeks before adding him back. Then if it doesn't workout I'll have to give one of them up.
