two firefish, two separate times

I have a firefish in my QT tank and a firefish in my friends qt tank.
It's only a 10g and I have a clown and 2 chromis in there already, other wise I would have added the 2nd firefish to the QT tank.

I should be fine adding the 2 firefish to my DT tank at the same time even though they're separated, correct?

There's LOTS of hiding places for them:

They're not going to stay in the 10g quadrant. They're going into a 56 gallon

Sorry, two still will not coexist long term. They will be fine for a few months, then the dominant one will intimidate the other one into hiding and it will starve to death.

Unless they are a known m/f pair. But you won't know until introduction. And if they're not, they're almost impossible to catch. Just stick with the one you have.

I attemped this, it did not work out. I wouldn't advise it. One will become dominant and the other will be forced into hiding.

the clown fish is doing great. my tank finished cycling a couple weeks ago and everything has been perfect since.
We added 4 green chromis, a shrimp & two firefish. The firefish are doing extremely well together. They share the same burrow. I even added a small zoa colony

Glad to hear it. Tank looks great too. These 56's may be a bit odd on space, but they are a sharp looking tank, no doubt.
