I had the opportunity to visit Nate and Adam's homes this weekend and saw two amazing displays. Nate is reconfiguring his 65 gallon sps into a primarily softy dominated tank. It is loaded with beautiful gorgonia and a rainbow array of ricordia along the upper third of the rockwork making for a very unique presentation. He has also kept a sampling of some of the most colorful sps to add to the balance. He also has a variety of clams situated along the rockwork. He has done about as much as I imagine one can do with a 65 gallon tank. Adam's tank which i have not seen for a number of months contains a dizzying array of sps, lps and soft corals and is seriously nearing TOM caliber. Though he recently ran a photo thread, no pics can reasonably capture the beauty of his display. The new Hamilton 250 watt 14k bulbs really show of the corals colors. If folks are looking for inspiration for their own displays, I seriously suggest checking out these two. I also want to thank both for their very generous frags to help me repopulate my own tanks. I was able to get back some of the corals that I previously owned prior to moving and subsequent losses. So its good to bank your corals with your buddies since one day it just might come in handy.
