two part dosing vs. kalk top off

so i just wanted to get some opinions on what people thought might be a better way of keeping my alk and ca up. i plan on a 24g with a 30g sump and mainly sps but i dont want to get into a ca or kalk reactor so i just wanted to get an idea of what i should do otherwise and why one vs. the other would be better.

Two part for that application.

Why? It's easier and due to the size of your tank, until you reach a point where it's impractical, it's an easy way to keep levels up.
