two-part order

I'll be placing an order with "Two-Part Solutions" for my own reefs and the zoo. I will be including an order for pelletized GFO (granulated ferric oxide phosphate remover), Kalwasser, and Magnesium chloride and some soda ash. If anyone wants to piggy back to increase the bulk of the order (thus cheaper prices especially on the GFO), let me know by the end of this coming week.

I'll be in for some magnesium chloride... not sure how much yet. Anyone know how much you would use with 1 50lb bag dow flake??

Interested in GFO. Either 1 pound or 2. If we get a large order then 2 pounds as the price/pound is less.

If we split a 9lb bucket 4 ways (including the zoo) the bucket will cost $130 or $14 per lb. Single lbs cost $23 so we can each save a little cash. We would each receive approx 2.25 lbs (if we divide it equally) though i have no way to weigh that out with any precision. I would just break it down into 5 visually equal size bags.
Adam, regarding the MgCl, do you want to split a one gallon bucket (7lbs) or each get 1 gallon. I can go either way. One gallon would go an aweful long way since Randy Holmes farleys formula only calls for mixing some MgCl along with mag sulfate when making up the mag formula.

i can bring a gram scale home to split it up if need be jerry. let me know. i am interested in a LB and it loks like you are goin to have more than just 4 people so 1 lb is good for me .

Jerry, put me down down for 1lb GFO (2 if needed to fill an order), 1 Gallon Kalk, and I'll split a bucket of mag with with you.

I could use 1 lb gfo and 1 lb of the mgci(magnesium?) I would go for 2 lbs of the gfo if needed.

OK, I'll order a 9 lb bucket of pelletized GFO. That should cover everybody's needs for now. I'll also order 2 one gallon buckets of kalkwasser for Piazzon and myself, and three gallons of MgCl ( one two gallon and 1 one gallon bucket) to split between myself, Piazzon and Jeremy. I'll probably place the order tonight so let me know if there are any modifications.

I have not used this before - How big of a container do I need for my 1lb? Ziplock/bucket/?

Laxing - you could probably probably get away with a large coffee can (I used folgers plastic ones) or a large ziplock bag (or maybe two)
