As many of you know I'm starting up a new 150. I've been cycling my tank and now that I'm at about 60 days in it was time to start adding the corals. First I did a little tester piece or two... some trumpet/candy corals and some cheap zoa's. Trumpets did fine, but the Zoa's closed up. I did a 25% water change (first one on this system) and tried again a week later... things seemed cool so I started slowely moving stuff in.

Yesterday I also added some Peppermint shrimp (2 for $12) to see how they did before I dropped more coin on some true skunk cleaners (20 each!!). After adding them, I walked away for a minute and came back... Huh... My Lyretail anthias were acting weird!!

At first I thought they were attacking the peppermints but that was NOT the case.
Hmmm... what are they doing back there?

Maybe they needed a bath bc they sure seem to want to be cleaned!!

I'm going to get a true cleaner today and see how they do with it. I had a small disease outbreak a few weeks back. Maybe these guys have some remnents of it and they want it cleaned off. The Peps didn't really know what to do in this situation so I don't think they really cleaned well.

Thanks... you are more than welcome to come over some time. you might wanna wait a week or two till I get all the corals in there that have been sitting in my frag tank for all these months.

lol.. thats too funny..

the pep is like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? GTFO and take me to your appies.. nom nom nom..

Luckily I can say that there is only ONE Apstasia in my tank at this moment. hopefully the Peps will get it soon before it spreads. ill have to move the piece down by their overhang for a few days.

Yeah... is was almost like they were hypnotized or something they way they were all in the same position, right on top of each other.... staying almost perfectly still.
