Two Powerheads Running At Same Time (Opposite Directions)?

I currently have a Gyre and am noticing (due to my strange scape) that there is one spot where corals are not getting enough flow. Running forward and reverse doesn't give enough power in reverse to get to them. Thinking of getting an Ecotech MP10QD, place it low and have it run the opposite direction of the gyre to hit the corals that aren't getting enough flow.

The issue is, I don't want to spend all the money to get a bunch of modules added onto my Apex to control both powerheads to offset their timing. I just want to set them and leave them. Now the issue with this is, the gyre is on constant mode and I plan to have the mp10 come on sporadically to pump some flow here and there. Is this pointless with the Gyre running at the same time?

The Gyre would be top left and the mp10 would be bottom left to hit corals that are bottom right but on the left side of a rock where the Gyre flow can't get to them. I'm thinking the Gyre's flow is much weaker on the bottom then on the top so a fair amount of power from the MP10 should still provide flow to the corals in question. Am I correct or will this create issues I am unaware of?

Also, anyone know if the MP10 can be angled or does it just sit straight and fire ahead? i.e. place it flat on the glass but angle the head so the flow hits where I want?

Thanks,

Why not get another gyre, The tunzes nanaostream is excellent, it has 3D positioning and is cheap and small. If your gyre goes it would be a fantastic backup too.

The Ecotechs keep the heat and the cord out of the tank which I like. And my tank is in a corner with the back and left side against the wall, so I like to keep all powerheads on the left side to keep their exterior pieces and cords out of view. Otherwise, would love to have another Gyre running the opposite way.

I think the Eco techs low are amazing, I don't like how they can't be oriented in any angle
