not many places sell dowflake or magflake in the sunny parts of the nation...
Huh?

Any ways, ahoyboy I've only read a couple of posts of people ordering from them and all was good. But I also wouldn't mind hearing from a local person who's tried them out as I want to order the 16cup Kalkwasser package they have. I'm kinda tired of paying $16 bux for 450grams of Kalk when twopartsolution.com has 2,227 grams for $10 bux.

I currently use dowflake, baking soda, and MagFlake as supplements in my tank. If you need something and can't find it locally, why not buy from these guys? They're just selling the products that Randy-Holmes Farley has tested and recomends, and pre-measuring for those that don't want to be bothered. It's a smart idea, wish I'd thought of it first...

But, before you pay to have something shipped, think about what it would cost ot get it locally. Baking soda is available anywhere - 59¢ for a small box at Publix, to $3 for 8lb. as Costco, or even bigger bags at pool supply stores. I've bought Dowflake from Pinch-a-Penny pool supply - $20 or $25 for a 50lb bag. If large quantities are an issue for you, buying smaller packages from twopart might make sense for you. (I store my bulk Dowflake and MagFlake in sealed salt buckets in the garage.) I've always picked up MagFlake through group buys in this forum.

jeffbrig, im going to search for a pinch a penny for the dowflake to see it it would be cheaper that way, the baking soda i have here at home already anyways but i know i could always pick some more up at publix. as far as the magflake, i might order some from that website or from some of the others listed in the DIY article by farley.

does anyone know exactly what i should look for with the medical dosers on ebay as far as brand, features, etc. im looking for a two channel to dose the two part but im not getting many results.
