Follow-up on the acans: I remembered reading somewhere somebody saying that he liked to scoop up deals on browned-out acans at pet stores, knowing that they had probably browned because of the feeding practices at the store. He'd get them home and spot feed them mysis and (usually) that'd turn things around, and they'd brighten back up. Anyways, I figured it'd be worth a shot, so I tried it today. Wow, were those guys ever hungry! I've never seen such hungry polyps (well, except for these damn button polyps--they're definitley the hardiest coral in my tank! Still planning to Joes Juice them, or maybe I'll try a Mrs. Wages concoction, since I have some of that already. I'll update with the results.)
