types of clams that are good?

i have a 96 gallon tank with about 360 watts metal hallides(about 3.5 watts per gallon). i have a few corals now but not many and they are easy ones to take care of. i keep my lights on for about 6 hours a day. the corals seem to be fine with that. can i get clams in my tank with my wattage? is 6 hours a day ok for clams?my water parameters are fine. i dont add any supplements in my tank except iodine.


also, what would be good starter clams if i can even get any? giambi4343

Mostly very low light clams like a Gigas, but they can grow to four feet. Six huors a day is definitely not enough for any clam, sorry!

i keep my lights on for 8 hrs a day and i see no problems with my two clams

a derasa is a lower light clam if im not mistaken... but mine loves light too.
