I am looking for eagle eyes that are big....all I get is small ones.

The red with yellow skirt with black dot.

How many types of eagle eye are there?

Eagle eyes are orange with purple centers and green skirts, you probably have one of many morphs.

They're all the same. Morphs depend on lighting and water conditions. You could probably get them to plump up to a decent size in the right conditions. I've seen colors ranging from green skirt, greenish yellow skirt, orange center, red center, black dot, blue dot, or even neon green dot inside blue dot (kaleidoscopes). I've seen all of these morphs on the same polyps in my tank while I cycled through different lighting schemes. Skirt lengths also vary depending on flow. High flow equals longer skirts.

I think there are sub species....the ones in my lfs have big heads..not joined with others.
Thx zooty.....he is fraggin them next week.

They are all sub-species, just different morphs

Eagle Eyes and Whammin Watermelons are different morphs of the same zoa
