Typhoon RO/DI experience?

I do. It works great. It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of the T3, but you can pick those up over time if you want. I added a TDS meter. The T3 is a good value. I think the regular Typhoon is as well. It has the same basic components as its bigger brother (same membrane, same di, same filters, same housing, etc.) so the water will be the same quality...

The TIII is a solid unit. It has a high build quality with heavy duty components and brackets. There are bypass and flush valves, as well as RO only and RO/DI outputs. There is a pressure gauge and it comes with several options to hook it up.

More importantly it has a dow filmtec 75 GPD membrane with a high quality vertical DI housing, and refillable canister.

It really does not need anything else. Inline TDS meters kinda suck anyway, a handheld is much more accurate in most cases.

The typhoon unit is the same as the typhoon III except it doesn't have the flush valve, the pressure gauge and the DI bypass. You can add these over time if you want. The total cost to add those separately is less if you buy the Typhoon III up front. I'd say go ahead and go for the TIII.

Sorry I kind of misread the first post....

Crumbletop is correct. But your better off just getting the TIII and being done with it. The flush valve is nice (really a must).

I already bought the typhoon. it does have the the fast flush valve and DI bypass. it even came with a float valve and it was cheaper. my question is whats the difference? i mean unless they sent me the T3 w/o realizing this has it all.

They must have made a mistake. The difference is a fast flush valve, DI bypass, pressure gauge and TDS meter. Other than that they are identical.
