I've got my typhoon skimmer a put together except for the waste outlet, I put it on but it was really loose. Is there something you have to do with this. Also I have an o-ring that I can't figure out what its for.

My waste outlet is not tight either, but it does not fall off. If yours stays on and the waste water flows fine it should not be a problem.
(by waste outlet you do mean the black unit attached to a plastic hose going to your waste recepticle)
I am not sure where the O ring goes either......... run your skimmer and see if you have any leaks
that might be a good place for an O ring
