UGH! almost threw clown in toilet!

so i been trying to get my cloned anemone out to sell.....but it split behind a rock so i turned the rock over a bit to get easier access to them. and after doing that my *expletive deleted* clown started biting and attacking me! now i kinda understand dont get me wrong.....but how does everyone else get their anemones out if their clowns are attacking them. (btw these are false percs lil boogers are mean)

i've tried an ice cube no luck,tried beign gentle with my fingertips that didnt quite work, tried pointing the powerhead at the nem didnt move either.......

can anyone give me some good advice?

thats what clowns do. be happy they are percs, the bigger meaner clowns can draw blood!

my false perc female bites me whenever I do anything in my tank whether I am near her anemone or not!!! I gently push her out of the way. she is just being protective of her home. I had an anemone split and actually had to take the rock out as it would not dislodge from the rock. This is your best bet.

i sell them with the rock, my LFS will give me $$$ and a piece of LR to replace the one i brought in.

lol thats a good idea but this piece of rock that they are on is atleast 40lbs my lfs so gay probably try to make me pay the dif in live rock....

clowns bite mine scared the sh#t of me i hit my elbow on the rim of my tank

you can try put smaller pieces of rock near the anemone foot, then cover the light on the top of the anemone. Hopefully your anemone will attach to the new rock while moving out to get light.
