Uh Oh - Site is down (hacked), who runs it?

Looks like the KOSOVA HACKERS CREW pwned the site!

Who runs/manages our site, I could assist getting it back in order - I do IT security for a living so work on this crap all the time...

Yeah, the rest of the site is still working, just the landing got pwned. I didnt even notice till I tried to pull it up on my phone. Im pretty sure Mike is on it, but you might post on the forum so he knows about the offer, not sure he checks here as much anymore.

Not sure if anyone knows catrina.cupp@gmail.com - but that email gives me a bounce and they are the admin/technical contact on the whois database so that should probably be updated to a working email address..

Call me naive but what possible benefit was it to anybody to hack a reef club web site? I assume not but is there anything you know of that we can do to help?

Yeah me too - although we can just use this RC channel for now # ; )

So what happens is someone finds out a "hack" by doing certain things (SQL Injection, CSS attack, etc). Once they do that they can use a search engine to find that vulnerability on any public website. Its pretty cool actually! So no, this was definitely not a targeted attack - just someone showing off their skills and getting <some> publicity out of it.
