Just received a new acan lord. Wondering if anyone has seen these colors before, and has a picture of this color combo when its not pised off. Maybe an identifier name. Did not see anything in a google search. Thx

here are just a couple of them. i try to make it a rule to never pay more than 8 bux per polyp on frags, and i have paid as little as 1.50 per polyp on larger colonies of similar morphs.

these frags cost me 15 bux each.


phone pics....crappy at best....it is hard to see the exact color morph on yours, but i have gray, blue, green, orange, red, all as main polyp color.

Very nice, and you got a steal of a deal. I was not so lucky. I did not break $100 but came close to it. I don't care really. They look great, bright, and i hardly ever see any for sale around my area. Im glad that it is healthy!

start buying them on ebay....get a lot to compensate for the shipping. i have no lfs so ebay and other known retailers are my only real oiption.

i have paid as much as 25 per polyp before, but only to find i didnt get a good deal. i hate letting someone else get what i want, but if they want to pay that much, let em.

good luck. i love acans....i think i have 17 different colonies.

Try and find a local guy in your area that might deal in corals, or just frags his stuff, thats what worked for me. My local lfs is great for fish but $70 just for a rock with 4 blue mushrooms or $60 for a small acan was just too much for me.

Wow I've overpaid a lot of times!!! I will have to start e-bay shopping. $1.5-$8 I've always assumed for good size colonies people were parting with $300+ dollars.
