Lol i dont buy anything over like $40. Call me cheap, but i cant afford to waste money on the fancy stuff so im not getting the good stuff. I just grow out cheaper and still pretty nice till they are big colonies and trade them off for the nicer stuff.

There's may scolys much prettier than this one so this is not actually the ULTRA scoly but it looks quite healthy and I think 175 is a fair price.

I totally agree with you. This is the least expensive of scolymia of the list given by my dealer. The price tag is a kind of insane. There is one rainbow scoly selling for 450.

Yes, I once saw a VERY insane scoly on e-bay,it;s price is 850 USD

175 seems about right for this. More red on it than they normally show. It all comes down to whether or not you will enjoy it enough for that price. I think scoly's are pretty sweet, but I would never spend a couple hundred or more on one. I bought my bleeding apple off of a fellow hobbyist for 80 bucks. It has to be one of the coolest things in my tank to watch eat. Practically inverts itself and goes to town on food.
